After some careful consideration, George decides to pay a few people to hush their tongues about his Anne. She's a dear, sweet girl - more innocent than a couple of her younger sisters, Lord knows - and besides, it's most urgent that she find a husband as expeditiously as possible. He writes the notes, including the bank notes for the necessary money, and seals them, feeling quite satisfied as he heads upstairs to bed.
