Angel

There are two possible routes here, Rough and Buffy Asserts Control -I left it to the readers on which path is the "real" path. Rough won out.

At the end of The Pack Xander still tells the girls that he doesn't remember anything[u].

Angel

Buffy walked out the of the Bronze and stumbled over the doorway. She'd been clumsy since...well, since Xander his way with her. The way her body had shaken and cum time after time from the feel of him inside of her...it was always on the back of her mind.

She was so distracted she did not even notice the three vampires closing in around her until one of her punched her in the face.

She crumpled to the ground and one of them kicked her in the side and she rolled to her side. "Are we sure this is the Slayer?"

Another of the Three nudged open her jacket and a stake fell out. "Matches the description, has a stake. I can't believe she took down Luke."

"I always thought he was overrated," another said. "Let's drain her and get back to the Master. It has been too long since I tasted Slayer..."

At that point Angel jumped into the fray. But with Buffy still struggling to her feet he was no match for the three on his own.

"Flash!" a voice yelled and a bright light filled the alleyway.

As the Three grabbed at their eyes, Amy grabbed a hold of Buffy and Angel. "We need to go. Where is the closest place we'll be safe."

"Don't worry," Angel said as he looked out the window. "Vampires can't come in without an invite."

"Not something I've put to the test," Buffy said as she collapsed in a chair.

"You okay?" Angel asked concerned.

In response Buffy started to snore.

He looked up to Amy who had her eyes on him, "Are you okay?"

She stared back at him, "What are you?"

"I don't know what you mean," he said nervously.

"You're not human," she told him. "I can tell that."

"I..." he said as tried to think of an excuse. "Keep her safe."

With that he turned and bolted out the door.

She watched him go. Hopefully he would lead the Three away. She looked back to Buffy who was sleeping in the chair. She smiled a little, "Yeah, Xander really did a number on you, didn't he. We're going to have to figure out something out."
