How will Dawn's date go from here?
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
“So how is this date going to work?” Nick asked. “What’s the plan? Because I’m still not sure why you had to bring me all the way here.”
“I have lots of things planned,” Dawn said, cracking a smile. “We’re going to meet the dating milestones I lost my chance to meet. I split our 24 hours up into blocks of 3 hour periods.”
“You remembered to leave time for us to sleep, right?” Nick worried.
Dawn rolled her eyes. “Of course I did.” Then her cheeks turned pink. “But it’s not exactly up to me… how much sleep we get,” she mumbled, averting her eyes.
“Huh?”
“W-Well… the activities I have planned…” Dawn adjusted her glasses and her blush deepened. “They will end at nine. So after that…”
She let the implication hang awkwardly in the air between them.
Nick cleared his throat. “Well, I see. At any rate, it’s almost nine now, so-”
“W-Wait! I meant 9:00 PM, not AM!” Dawn frantically clarified. “I would never spend all that time on-!”
“I’m teasing you,” he chuckled. “Don’t worry. I understand completely.”
Dawn’s jaw dropped and her cheeks puffed up. “Well-! That’s just rude!” Her tail stood up angrily and her ears flared. But before she could say anything else, the clock struck nine and the world around them shifted.
9:00 AM-12:00 PM
When Nick came to, he wasn’t in the park anymore, and it wasn’t the morning. The sky was dark and he was standing in a well-lit parking lot, packed tight with cars. But it wasn’t any ordinary parking lot; the cars were all parked in front of a large screen.
The next part of their date would evidently be taking place in a drive-in movie theater.
As Nick looked around, wondering where Dawn was, he realized that his hands were full. He was carrying two hotdogs and two small folding boxes filled with steaming chili cheese fries.
“Hey!” A knock on the car window got his attention and he turned to see Dawn behind the wheel of a beat-up silver car with a rusted bumper, the same one he remembered seeing her drive around back when they were in high school.
“You get the stuff?” Dawn rolled down the window.
“Oh, uh, yeah.” He handed her the food. They’d just eaten and yet he already felt hungry again. Whatever was going on with this Dream Alley it was really messing up his sense of time.
“Where’s our drinks?” Dawn asked, raising her eyebrows. Nick went pale.
“D-Drinks? I don’t-”
“I’m kidding,” she laughed, nudging her tail towards the cup holders, which already held two large root beers. “Come on, get in. The movie’s about to start.”
Nick walked around the car and climbed inside, sitting down next to her. She’d never let him in before, back when they were in school together. He was impressed, but not surprised. For a car that looked so beat-up on the outside, the interior was immaculate.
“It still amazes me you could drive this thing,” Nick said, looking around.
“Yeah, it looks like a bit of a junker on the outside, but it still runs just fine,” Dawn chuckled, patting the dashboard affectionately.
“What? Oh, no, I just meant that you must get pulled over all the time,” Nick clarified. “Did they really let you have a driver’s license?”
“Hey!” Dawn snapped. “I might look like a kid, but I’m still 27 damn it!”
“Yeah, I know. Tell me, do they make car seats for adults?” He teased.
Dawn seethed at him, sinking a little behind the wheel. “You keep makin’ fun…”
“I’m just teasing, I’m sorry,” Nick apologized. “…Do you need a bit of a boost to watch the movie over the steering wheel?”
She started flinging napkins at him.
“Stop messing around! The movie’s going to start soon!” She pouted.
“I know, I know, I’m sorry,” Nick giggled. He sobered up a few seconds later. “That’s something I’m confused about, though.”
“Huh?”
“A drive-in movie? Because I don’t remember there being a single one of those places back home,” Nick said, looking around at the litter-covered lot. “Or, you know, a drive-in movie theater still existing past the turn of the century in general.”
Dawn scowled. “Well… yeah, this wasn’t something I brought from memory,” she muttered. “Back home, we’d just go to the movie theater or something. But we already did that, we couldn’t just do it again!”
“…So your idea was going to the movie theater, but with extra steps?” Nick asked. “Seems more complicated than it needs to be…”
“Yeah, well, sorry,” she huffed.
“Oh…” Nick felt like an ass when he saw the disappointed look on her face. She’d been really excited for this date, and he’d just shit all over it. “Hey, Dawn…”
“Nothing, it’s stupid.” She was pouting now. What a mess.
“I don’t think it’s stupid,” Nick said, patting her on the shoulder. “I was just surprised, and giving you a hard time. I know you tried your best to make this a good date for me.”
“When I was little, there were all these TV shows and movies that had drive-in movie theaters,” Dawn explained. “It seemed so cute. I always thought that if I got a boyfriend, I’d want to do something like that, just sit with him in the car and watch a movie together.
“You know they make cars that come with their own TVs inside now, right?”
“Yeah, but it’s not the same.”
A small smile crossed her lips and she turned to Nick. “But you know something? Even if places like this don’t exist anymore, thanks to this hotel I’ll be able to keep this memory forever. It really means a lot that you’d agree to come here with me, Nick.”
Nick smiled back at her, but she could see something was wrong.
“Oh, no, is everything okay?” She asked frantically. “I didn’t mess up, did I? Is it because my car is too cramped? I’m really short so I never noticed…”
“No, it’s fine,” Nick said, shaking his head. “It’s just… as much as I’m happy to go on this date with you, Dawn, I can’t help thinking there’s somewhere else I’m supposed to be.”
“Huh? What do you mean?” Dawn asked, confused.
Nick sighed. “I don’t want to talk about it. It’s not really any of our business, and it’s just going to ruin our date.”
“No, what will ruin our date is you being sad and upset throughout the movie because of something else that’s bothering you,” Dawn corrected him. “So come on, what is it? I promise you can tell me.”
Nick looked into her eager eyes. She really wanted to do lend an ear to his problems. Maybe this was part of being the “good girlfriend” that she’d missed out on in her youth and she was trying to make up for lost time. Whatever the reason, he needed to get this off his chest.
He told her everything. What had happened last night with Dani, how Carly seemed to be acting strange around Mimi, and the general discomfort he felt about the whole thing. He was careful in choosing his words, making sure not to give Dawn too much about what Dani had confided in him. He wanted to fix the problems between the three women, but he didn’t want to violate Dani’s privacy. And he definitely kept his mouth shut about her feelings for Carly. Dawn didn’t have any right to know about that part of the discussion.
Dawn listened in silent contemplation as he explained the situation to her.
“So basically, Carly has some sort of issue with Mimi, and that caused her to get into a fight with Dani before she left to spend last night with you, and now she’s upset and wants to find some way to resolve things? Is that about it?” Dawn clarified the situation.
“That’s about it, yeah,” Nick nodded. The stuff I feel comfortable telling you about, anyway.
“And you don’t know what Carly’s upset with Mimi about?” Dawn already had a feeling something weird was happening between Carly and the slime girl, but because she wasn’t that close with either of them she couldn’t be sure what. The little amount of one on one time she’d had with Mimi had been spent trying to teach the girl how to use her brain, not talking about feelings.
Nick nodded glumly. “I was hoping that today, actually, I could go to Carly and try to talk to her, you know, try to smooth things over. But unfortunately…”
Dawn flopped forward and banged her head against the steering wheel, sending a honk echoing through the parking lot. If the people in the other cars were real people and not constructs of Dawn’s imagination, they probably would have been pretty upset with her.
“I’m the worst…” She groaned. “I was just thinking about myself, and I dragged you on this date when you had other things to do…”
She turned to Nick. “I’m sorry…”
“Hey, no, it’s fine,” Nick said, waving his hands. “You didn’t know. It’s not your fault.”
Dawn shook her head. “Still, I kind of messed things up…”
“Dawn…” Nick didn’t mean to turn this into a referendum on her or anything of the sort. He’d just wanted to get this off his chest so they could enjoy their date in full.
“Listen, maybe this is for the best.”
“Huh?” Dawn looked at him like he was crazy.
Nick shrugged. “When Dani came to me, it wasn’t like she was looking for help. She just wanted someone to vent to. I can’t make the two of them patch things up, she has to handle that herself. Just like how I can’t magically make Carly and Mimi cool. So in a way, maybe you did me a favor.”
“…A favor.” The icy look in Dawn’s eye told him she wasn’t buying that for a second.
“Well… you know me. I would have probably gone out and tried to do something crazy, right? Like, my first instinct was to try and talk to Carly and try to fix this. But this is an issue between them. So maybe it’s better that I’m here instead of there. That way, rather than getting involved in this mess, I can let Dani fix it for herself.”
Dawn thought that sounded a little out-there, and Nick admittedly felt like he was reaching. But he also knew that it would be better to take his mind off this issue, especially if it involved something he couldn’t really do anything about.
“…I guess that makes sense,” Dawn admitted. She could tell there was a lot of stuff he was holding back, stuff he probably thought was none of her business. And if he wasn’t going to tell her, she wasn’t going to pry. “So what now, then?”
“I guess we just enjoy our time together, and I’ll see where we all stand in the morning,” Nick shrugged. “Tomorrow is Carly’s day with me anyway, so at least that will give me the opportunity to talk to her.”
Dawn nodded. She perked up a little knowing her date plan wasn’t going to go to complete waste.
“So what movie are we watching, anyway?” Nick asked, turning toward as the screen turned on. “You pulled it out of your memory, right? So is it your favorite movie?”
Dawn shook her head. “Actually I set up with Sylvia so we could watch a movie in here I’ve never seen before.”
“Which one?”
She mumbled something he couldn’t hear.
“Sorry, what was that?” He asked.
Dawn cleared her throat and her face turned red.
“…Twilight 2: New Moon,” she said a little louder, and Nick’s jaw dropped.
“Dawn…”
“I know!” Dawn exclaimed, burying her flustered face in her hands. “It’s dumb, but I mean, we already saw the first one, so…”
“You know you can just admit when you like something, right? Just because a lot of people make fun of the Twilight series that doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to like them.”
“I don’t like them!” Dawn protested. “We’re watching it ironically!”
“…Ironically, huh.”
“That’s right.”
Nick decided he would let her keep that façade. The movie began to start, and they began digging into their food. Just as Nick feared, it was even worse than the first one.
About halfway through the movie, Nick was completely lost.
“Wait, so her friend is a werewolf? What the heck?”
“Shush!” Dawn shushed him. “I’m trying to watch!” Her eyes were glued to the screen. Or more specifically, the shirtless boys filling it.
Nick rolled his eyes and tried to engage in the film, but he just couldn’t. At least Dawn was having fun though. That was something.
The fact he wasn’t paying much attention to the movie caused him to notice Dawn’s hand on his thigh immediately. He froze.
“Dawn?” He whispered, glancing at her. Her face was red against the dusk of the window, and she bit her lip. Her hand trailed further up his leg, towards his crotch.
“This is… part of it…” She mumbled. “That’s why people go to drive-in movie theaters, right?”
She actually took her eyes off the screen to look at him directly. The excitement in her face was overpowered by the anxiety and doubt. Her hand rested on his penis, which began to get hard through his jeans.
“I’m not quite ready yet,” she mumbled, glancing at the bulge in his pants. “For tonight. So I wanted the day with you, so we could work up to… that. With stuff like this.”
They had just kissed before. After all, they were reliving their elementary school years. But now they were in high school, and this was more the level of intimacy to be expected.
And Dawn hadn’t changed a bit. Wearing shorts and a white blouse, she looked exactly like she did when they were in school together. If he squinted, he could actually imagine they were 16 again, exploring each other’s bodies in her beat-up car.
Nick nodded and let Dawn do what she was going to do. She sucked in air through her teeth and unzipped his pants, fishing out his hardening cock. He had her full attention now, and the movie was forgotten. She wrapped her fingers around his shaft and he hissed, squirming in his seat.
Touched the Master’s Penis! +2 VP
“We’re not the only ones,” she whispered, nudging her shoulder at the car ahead of them. It was rocking from side to side, and the couple in there was definitely getting up to something intimate. Nick swallowed and nodded, feeling a dirty surge of excitement well up inside him. The way she was touching him, playing with him, with everyone around them… even if they weren’t real people it was still exciting.
And Dawn’s hand felt amazing. He had almost forgotten the intensity of her touch. After his night with Dakota he’d been worried that he wouldn’t be satisfied by any other woman, but Dawn was quickly putting those concerns to rest. He’d already experienced the feeling of Rose’s handjob using Dawn’s transformation, but her own slender fingers felt amazing on him. She was dexterous enough to handle him like a master, even with her limited experience, and feeling the way they warmly danced across his throbbing shaft was already bringing him towards the edge.
“Fuck, Dawn, that feels so good!” He groaned.
“I-I haven’t really jerked a guy off before…” She whispered, her eyes hot with excitement. “Is it really that good?”
“Yeah… ugh, you’re so…!”
“Come on,” she urged him. “Just a little more…” Her hand shot up and down his shaft as she tightened and loosened her grip. While she didn’t have Rose’s trained hand, her clumsy inexperience almost made up for it, giving him a different sensation with the same transformation.
And she seemed surprisingly eager.
I have to do a good job, Dawn urged herself, stoking her desire to be the best in order to fuel her own efforts. If we’re going to have sex, I need to get used to handling his penis. Which means I need as much practical experience as I can.
Factoring that in, Dawn actually slowed down her ministrations rather than speed them up. Nick looked at her in confusion but she just cracked a smile, giving him a delightfully-mischievous grin.
Then she turned back to the movie and kept watching.
You little minx! Nick wanted to shout. She was torturing him now, going agonizingly slow as she played with him, getting familiar with the surface of his shaft. She swirled her fingers around his throbbing head and tightened her grip, causing him to jerk and thrust into her palm, but she never let him go over the edge.
It felt like she kept him there for hours. He soaked through her seat with his sweat, humping at her hand like crazy. He could have grabbed her hand and **** her to speed up, but he didn’t. He knew she was getting comfortable with him, and he didn’t want to push her into anything that she wasn’t ready for.
But this was agony!
Then he felt pressure coming from somewhere else. He glanced at her, and confirmed that she was staring directly at him. She cracked a smile and began to pick up speed, going from head to base in a flash and urging his semen out through his shaft. He was helpless in her hands as her tail bobbed from side to side with excitement, and before he knew what he was doing he was already over the edge.
“Ugh, Dawn, I’m cumming!” He roared. She was fast as lightning, taking some napkins and covering his head with them. He felt himself release into the brown cloth, darkening it with his load and turning her hand into a sticky mess.
Better her hand than the inside of her car, though.
Handjob! +3 VP
“Well, that was something,” Dawn grinned, wiping the rest of his semen off her palm with another napkin. “Did you like it?” Her tail twitched eagerly as she looked for praise.
“That was amazing,” Nick admitted. They both turned back to the movie, only to see it was long over.
12:00 PM-3:00 PM
“I was wondering this before, but why is it still night?” Nick asked, looking around. “It should only be, like, lunchtime, right?” He checked his phone to confirm.
He was standing on the street in front of a large hotel. Not a menacing one like the Harem Hotel; it stood in the center of the city, and people in fancy dresses and tuxedoes were walking in and out of it. To his surprise, he was wearing a tuxedo himself.
“Whatever the time is out there doesn’t matter. I set the time to night because that was the most fitting for this.”
Nick turned to look over his shoulder and his heart stopped in his chest at what he saw.
Dawn looked lovely. She wore a white dress with lace embroidery that exposed her neckline, and a lace choker around her throat. Her hair was done up in its usual ponytail, and her tail darted between her legs. Her makeup was perfect, accentuating her gorgeous smile, and the sparkle in her eyes spoke to her anticipation of tonight. She was perfect.

“That dress…” He didn’t know what to say.
“It’s my prom dress,” she murmured. “Or, well… it’s the dress I always wanted to wear to prom. But I didn’t have anyone to go with.”
Her hand danced cautiously in front of her, like she was asking Nick to take it without actually asking. He realized where they were. The Barrymore Hotel had been the location of their senior prom, but he hadn’t gone. He’d still been reeling from Dani ghosting him, among other issues. And of course, he hadn’t even considered asking Dawn, who he knew hated him.
Maybe he should have. She hadn’t gone either. Maybe if he had, things could have been different. There was no way to know, really.
But they could still have that night right now.
“Let’s go,” Nick smiled, taking her offer. They walked hand in hand into the hotel.
