An old friend, Emily

Lauren stared at her old childhood friend who she had grown up with until middle school when she moved away. Although Lauren never admitted it, she had a tiny crush on Emily. Emily was an asian girl who was a bit shorter than Lauren was and she had the classic asian petite shape, but now as Lauren looked at Emily she saw that she had grown a bit taller than Lauren and actually had a bit of a chest, probably a B cup. She had slim curves but that just made her look really hot.

“Emily?” Lauren said in surprise. “Wow, it’s been awhile. You’ve really changed.”

“Tell me about it,” Emily said. “You haven’t changed at all I see.”

Lauren blushed as Vanessa couldn’t help but snicker at that comment.

“I didn’t mean that in a condescending way,” Emily said, blushing. “I just meant you’re still just as pretty as I remember.”

“Pretty?” Lauren asked. “But I don’t... I’m not... how can you think I’m pretty?”

“What?” Emily said, confused. “Lauren, what are you talking about. You’re absolutely gorgeous. Do you not think that you are?”

“But I don’t have boobs!” Lauren yelled, but then cupped her mouth.

Emily laughed, but then realized Lauren was serious, and frowned. “Lauren, you know me better than that. I don’t care about cup size. You know I struggled to develop in middle school. I have no judgements. Lauren, are you okay?”

“She’s been going through some... stuff lately,” Vanessa explained. “Ahem, Lauren stuffed her bras for awhile and pretended she had a body that she didn’t, which has recently been sort of exposed.”

“Oh,” Emily said. “So basically Lauren is insecure?”

Vanessa nodded as Lauren looked down at her feet in shame. Emily grinned. “Well I know what might cheer her up. How about you and I go out together, catch up, have some dinner, Lauren?”

Lauren looked up in surprise, but nodded. “Okay, sure. Let’s do it.”

“Alright, I’ll come by at 6 and pick you up,” Emily said as she walked away.

Lauren and Vanessa headed back home after that as Lauren tried processing what just happened.
