An offer

“Child, my name in Triton.” He said as his massive jugs hung in front of Eric. “My son and I live here near this island, ever since my husband was killed by your kind.”

“I’m sorry.” Eric began to say.

“Quiet...” Triton snapped.

“I will take them from you in return...”

Eric’s eyes went wide as triton began reciting spells.

The water that cling to Triton’s body crash forwards and ungulfed the boy.

“What are you?” Eric asked.

“Me...?”Triton said with a smirk “why, I’m a sea witch.”

The water pulled back, and Eric found himself crashing to the ground. His legs were gone. In their place was tail. He had made him into another mermaid.

“You are hence forth my ****. Do as you are told, and you will be rewarded. Disobey me and you will wish I killed you and eaten you like I wanted.”

Eric gasped

Triton smiles and started laughing.

“Oh child, I would never do something like that... I was kidding.”

“You were?”

“For starters, I’m a vegetarian.”

Eric took a deep breath.

“I do expect you to earn your keep through. Do as I say, and keep Aria company, and you shall have a place with us.

Eric nodded.

Triton waved his hands again and the water picked the new mermaid up and carried them to the water, where the two took Eric’s hands and led him to his new home.
