“Do you ever wonder what would have happened if you didn’t fall off that ship?” Aria asked Eric as the two mermaids sunned themselves on a large rock.

“I was supposed to be married to a stuffy of woman.” Eric explained. “She’s probably dead by now anyway...”

“Hey... look, a ship.” Aria said. “This might be your chance.”

“For?”

“To go home.”

“Silly...” Eric said “I am home.”

“Boys!” Triton called out “time for your lessons.”

The two slid off the rock and returned to the lagoon in the island.
