"Ms. Tracey Buxton to see you, Master Wayne," Alfred announced as he took Bruce downstairs.

Bruce remembered her from the dossiers Batman had made of key figures in Penguin's gang. Running into her during his time in London, Penguin had convinced the blonde to return to Gotham with him. There she had acquitted herself quite well as a lieutenant, agent, and sometimes even enforcer of his gang. Now that he'd "gone legit," she was the squat criminal's employee in a more official capacity.

"Pleasure to meet yah, Mr. Wayne," Tracey said, in a thick Cockney accent. "Always 'oped I'd see the inside of this place." She smiled, extending a hand.

Bruce had to admit, she was an attractive woman. As curvaceous as Selina or Silver, and wearing a white dress that was just a hair too scandalous to be business wear.

"Likewise, Ms. Buxton," Bruce responded, shaking her hand. "So what brings you to Wayne Manor?"

"My employer sends 'is regards," Tracey said, reaching into a folder she had with her. "Went to that gala last night all special like, lookin' for yah."

"To give me this?" Bruce said, accepting an ornate invitation to the Iceberg Casino. "I'm not much of a gambler." He added, doing his best to keep his tone civil, even when confronted with a known criminal.

"That's what the boss said." Tracey admitted. "Still, we think you'll find something to love about our gaff." She stated.

"Alfred, why don't you get Ms. Buxton some tea?" Bruce said. "It's a long way back to the city."

"Right away, sir," Alfred nodded. He quickly left the hall, giving Tracey and Bruce the room.

In the momentary lull, Tracey surveyed the room. Seemingly just appreciating the decor, Bruce knew otherwise. He could read most people with ease, and Buxton was no exception. She had every intention of making him accept Penguin's invitation. Right now, she was simply evaluating her options, deciding whether to try the sweet or bitter option. The carrot or the stick.
