An invitation from Meg

A few months later I got a text from Meg. I hadn’t talked to her in forever. I was curious to see what she was up to. Then she asked me out of the blue:

Meg: Are you still in shape?

Me: Yeah.

Meg: Great. I have a really weird request.

Me: Okay

Meg: So Jess is getting married, and I’m the maid of honor. We’re going to Memphis for her bachelorette party. I'm the one planning it. She keeps hinting pretty hard that she wants a stripper. So cheesy. And I’m not sure if it’s a joke, but she keeps bringing it up. And I honestly don’t feel comfortable with some strange man getting naked for us. Then I thought of someone I trusted and would be comfortable with…”

Me: You want me to fly to Memphis and strip for Jess’s bachelorette party?

Meg: Yeah. Weird request like I said. But we’d tip you really well. And it you’d be so much better than finding someone online or something.

Me: I’ve never stripped before, and I doubt my dance moves are worth tips. Can I think about it? I’ll let you know soon.

Meg: Sure. No pressure. It would be so much fun if you came.

So I was invited to Jess’s bachelorette party by her sister to perform as a stripper. I’d never been naked in front of multiple women. It sounded enticing and exciting. My heart beat faster at the thought.

But there was one issue from stopping me. I had just started dating Monica. We had only had a couple dates so far. We’d gotten along really well. And on our second we had sex…a few times. Needless to say, because she’s sitting right next to me, I really liked Monica and I didn’t want to fuck it up.

Since we only had a couple dates, we hadn’t had any conversations about being exclusive. Labels like ‘boyfriend’ and ‘girlfriend’ weren’t there yet. We texted pretty frequently. Not all day, everyday though.

Would I have to tell her about this weekend trip? Would she ever know about it? Did she need to know about it?

Would I want to know if she stripped for a bachelor party? What if she was still hitting up an ex for a booty call when she was drunk and horny?

I didn’t know if we were at that point yet, where we’d say, screw everyone else, it’s just us.

So I had a decision to make:

Do I decline Meg’s invitation? Never bringing it up except for a funny story later in life to reveal how much I loved Monica after just a couple dates.

Do I talk to Monica about the situation? Maybe get a best of both worlds. Or get into an exclusive relationship after a couple dates.

Do I accept Meg’s invite, tell no one, and hope for the best with Monica? And see Jess for one last time before she gets married.
