An extremely difficult customer demands assistance.

"How many items is that?" Erica asked the woman as she approached the change-rooms. After getting a response, Erica gave her a tile with the number 3 displayed prominently on it.

This was what typically happened when she was working. It was quite monotonous. Sometimes, she was tasked with folding the clothes that the customers decided not to purchase after trying them on. And then there were the inventory days. Those were the worst.

Erica leaned on the podium to try to take some weight off her feet. The managers didn't like it when employees sat down while they were on the clock.

One of the change-room doors opened and closed as a woman returned and dropped a stack of clothing on the counter. She seemed upset.
