An alternate solution

"There has to be an alternative for those who can't pay by cash, surely!" Vanessa asked the receptionist, almost in disbelief at such an absurd rule. "Well there's no way I'm taking card payment, so you're not getting back out there like that." The receptionist responded sassily. Vanessa clenched her fist with anger. "I want to speak with your manager!" She yelled.

The receptionist sighed. "There's no need for that, I guess your only other option if you're that **** to leave would be to follow the policy for entries, but you'd never go through with it." She explained, flicking threw pages of a folder. "Just say it." Vanessa sighed and rolled her eyes, she was beyond fed up.

The receptionist was surprised at how eager Vanessa was to leave, most people in a situation like this storm off and let the naughty street do it's bidding but Vanessa was incredibly persistent. "Okay well the carnival entry policy says that kids under 5 and pets go free, so if you can obtain a ticket for one of those then you'll be good." The receptionist explained.

Vanessa didn't properly listen and assumed the receptionist meant find a ticket. "Okay I'm in, how do I get a ticket?" She asked. "Well first, you gotta decide what you wanna get, pet or 5 year old." The receptionist responded.
