An acquaintance from school

"Morgan?"

The blonde jumped, squeaking in surprise. The young man held up his hands placatingly, "Woah, sorry! Didn't mean to scare you!" Morgan took a deep breath to calm her nerves, "No, it's ok, I was just off in my head. How are you? Haven't seen you since..."

"The Biology final?"

Morgan blinked. "You were in my biology class?"

He looked put out and she regretted not tempering her reaction, "Sorry, I just never remembered seeing you on campus. I thought you were some off-campus friend of Sharon's." She vaguely remembered seeing him at a couple house parties but she couldn't for the life of her remember his name...

He shrugged, "No biggie. I guess you were kinda hammered the last time I introduced myself."

She winced, "The last time...?"

He smiled. It was a nice smile, she thought to herself. Cute dimples.

"Yeah... I've introduced myself a few times at parties. Guess I had bad timing, huh?"

She blushed, embarrassed she'd been consistently drunk whenever this guy had introduced himself before.

"Sorry..."

He waved his hand, "Don't worry about it, like I said, I had bad timing. Mind if I try again?" He offered her his hand and she took it after a moment, "Tom Barns, pleasure to meet you."

Something about the name jogged her memory...
