Among the ashes (Fallout)

In the year 2077 nuclear war annihilated most of the planets surface in a spectacular blaze of nuclear hellfire. Nearly all life on earth was ended as forests disintegrated and the oceans evaporated, life however would find a way with large populations of people finding refuge in massive underground vaults with survivors slowly rebuilding as the years passed.

On the west coast of the former united states arose 2 superpowers, the New California Republic (NCR) a massive bureaucratic democracy seeking to recreate the old world by restoring technology and bringing order to the wasteland, the NCRs rival state is Caesars Legion an Empire built on the back of slaves and bloody conquest. In the middle of this conflict is an innumerable amount of small Raider gangs like the scorpions and independent organizations such as New Vegas.

On the East coast there exists the commonwealth with the technologically advanced Brotherhood of steel and the secretive Institute battle for control of the region and just not far from there the Capitol wasteland is a lawless place with the remains of Washington DC and the surrounding area torn apart by Raiders and supermutants with only the brotherhood of steel maintaining a small amount of order.

Each side has thier dangers and it's rewards but for now you must choose where this story will begin.
