As she now thinks you are out you will have the element of surprise at your side. You position yourself next to the door and wait for her to come back. After several minutes you finally hear footsteps.
Esmeralda walks in the room and then stops in her tracks as she notices that you are gone. Without a sound you move at her from behind.
