Amanda had had enough. She was no stranger to porn but she wasn't exactly in the mood in her sweatpants with holes in them and dirty tank top. Sunday morning as a single girl wasn't exactly the ideal setting for watching a little bump n' grind.
Amanda hit stop on her remote as the camera began to swing towards the woman on the mattress, stopping at the corner of her red har before the tv cut to a blue "no input" screen.
Amanda opened the dvd player, took out the disk, and tossed it on to her tv stand. She'd revisit this when she was in the mood. She turned, pulled her tank top off and tossed it on her bed. Her studio apartment didn't have the luxury of separating living spaces. She closed the only other door in the apartment behind her, sealing herself off from the little world she'd created in 400 square feet. The sound of the water in her shower drowned out the sounds of New York that surrounded her and she drifted off into the twilight zone that people create in their own heads as they shower.
In the main room of her apartment, the sound of a turning doorknob was drowned by the sound of her shower.
