Amanda’s home

A few seconds after Alex knocks on the door, the punk rock music abruptly stops. You hear some heavy sounding footsteps, what sounds like weights being set down, and finally the sound of the door being unlocked.

When the door opens, an incredibly chiseled blond woman steps out to meet you and Alex. Her abs, arms, and legs are all thick with muscle. The black bikini she’s wearing for her workout outfit is matted with sweat and clings tightly to her lightly tanned skin. As she catches her breath, the bikini top stretches near its breaking point as her ample chest rises and falls. The skull and crossbones on the bikini top’s left cup, coupled with the assorted skull jewelry, make it clear this woman means business.

Her eyes linger on you for an agonizingly long minute before she turns her head to Alex and gives him a big smile. “Hey Alex!! You caught me at a good time,” the muscled woman says while catching her breath. “I just finished working out! Do you and your girlfriend wanna hang out after I get changed or...?”

You and Alex spare a glance at each other, utterly dumbfounded. Alex is the first to speak the question on both your minds. “Um...hi? Amanda? you are Amanda, right...?”

“Uh, yeah! ‘Course I am, silly! Oh, I forgot: I probably should have explained the whole ‘reinventing myself’ thing I was goin’ on about in my texts...” Amanda lets out what seems like genuinely embarrassed laugh.

Alex isn’t buying this ‘nice girl’ act, and frankly neither are you. Before you can say anything though, your breath hitches when you feel Alex protectively pull you closer, and you do your best not to blush. You swear you can see Amanda’s left eye twitch a little, but maybe it’s your imagination.

“You also texted that you’d ‘kick my new girl’s ass’,” Alex adds. “Look Amanda, I’m real glad that you got your new body and everything. But I just wanna be left alone, okay?”

Alex moves to shut the door, but Amanda gently places her foot in the doorway. “Alex...Alex, wait,” she begins. She glances at you before speaking again. “Look...I know I’ve been a real bitch. And I totally understand if you don’t want anything to do with me. But...I just wanna show you I have no problems with your new girlfriend. How about me and uh...”

You answer. “Jane.”

“Right. Me and Jane hang out together, to show there’s no hard feelings? We can have a girl’s day out!”

Alex turns to you, letting you make the choice. “Look, I don’t like this. I feel like she’s gonna try to mess you up while I’m not around to do anything; are you sure you wanna go through with this? If not, we can leave.”
