Alone, in another hovel

Groaning, Venus opened her eyes, blinking rapidly against the onslaught of light. Her skull pounded, and every muscle in her body seethed with pain. Her mouth felt like it was packed with cotton, her tongue a thick slab within it. Grunting with effort, she sat up, nearly swooning as the room spun around her. After a moment, everything settled, and she looked around.

She seemed to be in another hovel, one which hadn't been ravaged by magic. It was neatly organized, though very spartan in its' appointments. Her pack was neatly set atop a table, and a few slips of paper rested next to it. Her robe was nowhere to be seen, but what looked like a small pile of clothes sat on the sole chair next to the table. Her sword leaned against the wall next to the door. A chest was at the foot of the makeshift bed she rested on. The floor of the hovel was relatively dry dirt, though she could still feel the humidity of the swamps in the air.

She stood, her toes curling as they found a soft fur on the floor next to the bed. Wincing at the stiffness and pain in her muscles, she stretched, looking herself over for injury as she did so. She was surprised to find she was clean, the mixture of sweat and mud thoroughly cleaned from her body. Looking herself over, she found a small set of runes inscribed on her stomach, faintly glowing. She froze for a moment, unable to decipher what those runes meant, and that worried her.

She stepped across the room to the table, looking over the clothes. There was a set of pants and a tunic, both dark green, set there. Grabbing the pants, she pulled them on. They were tight, hugging her curves, and despite her best efforts, she couldn't quite pull the front laces completely closed. Tying them off, she found the small 'V' in the material stopped just above her mound. The tunic was sleeveless, and tight as well, with laces running down the front from her neck to just beneath her sternum. It, too, would not lace closed, leaving a large expanse of flesh visible from her neck to her sternum. It drew attention to her breasts, of which the entirety of the insides were on display, through the laces. Her nipples poked against the material, two delicate nubs tenting the material. Giving a few experimental twists and bounces, she found that while her breasts jiggled and swayed, her nipples were well-contained within the tunic.

Dressed, albeit a bit suggestively, she then grabbed the pieces of paper off the table. One was a note, the other was a hand-drawn map. The map had all of two spots marked on it. One was where she was, the other was somewhere to the east of her. A faint line was drawn from her location to the other spot, twisting and winding through the swamp. Turning her attention to the note, she read the neatly-printed message it contained:

"Since you're reading this, you're awake. I've a task for you, one which is rather important. The map you'll find with this note points to a location where I have traced an artifact from a long-lost age. I'd very much like this artifact to be in my possession, and you're going to get it for me.

You can choose to ignore this message, but the results will be...well, both pleasant and unpleasant for you. You see, the runes are there to ensure your compliance. Should you accomplish your task, I will remove them. Otherwise...well, I'll leave you to discover that.

You have three days to have the artifact back where you are now, or I'll be displeased..."

The message wasn't signed. Venus swore. It seemed she would have to help this person, or risk whatever consequences they had in mind for her. A brief check of her gear revealed all her meager possessions were there, and with that, she made up her mind.
