“I can’t,” Alexa whimpered.
She heard doors slamming indicating people were arriving. “Alexa, tell me now. Last chance,” Joy said.
“No I can’t,” she sobbed.
“Alright, I warned you,” Joy said.
“W-wait!” Alexa cried, her body shaking. “I wet the bed.”
“What was that?” Joy said. “I didn’t hear you.”
“I WET THE BED!” Alexa sobbed. “I woke up with my pants and sheets wet. So I did the laundry. I was hanging around my house and fell asleep, and then I... I wet my pants again! I AM A BEDWETTER!”
Joy sighed as everyone behind Alexa started to giggle and laugh. Alexa twisted her head and her eyes widened. “No,” she sobbed. “NOO!”
Her eyes laid on her former classmates and her sister. Her entire neighborhood was also there right behind her. “Oh, Lexi. We could’ve kept this between us, but you refused to be honest. We could’ve avoided all of this,” Joy said. “Now look at what you’ve done. Look at these undies. They’re soaked. And these sheets.”
Joy pointed to the wet clothes hanging on the line. Making emphasis of the Fruit of the Loom underwear. “And I told you that you had one last chance, but you still refused.”
“Please I’m sorry,” Alexa sobbed. “I’m sorry. Don’t punish me! Please! I’m sorry. Let’s end this! Not in front of all of them! Please.”
“Lexi, you could’ve avoided all of this by being honest,” Joy said. “Now it’s time for another punishment.”
