Alex walks into the firing line

You hear a car pull up at the drive way outside the house. "That's dad's car. Quick hide in my room." Alex says frantically while you all scramble. You and Gwen rush into Alex's room. Gwen close the door behind you the same moment that the front door and the voices of two very angry parents stream out of the hallway. You sit down on the bed (Alex have changed the sheets it would seem). You can hear the angry words of Alex's parents loud and clearly. You feel yourself going numb, your chest starts to ache. You clasp your hand over your ears not wanting to listen to the angry ****. You can't even hear your poor Alex retorting, just an endless stream of accusations and questions.

Gwen sits down next to you and pulls you into a hug. You start crying feeling weak and helpless. as you gently sob Gwen starts trying to comfort you. "It's gonna be alright. You will make it trough this okay. It will be okay..." She whispers, continuing on about how you need to be strong and how you can get trough this.

Your heart is racing, you just want this to end. You quiver as you sob into your sister. Trying desperately to keep the sound out but not being able to. You start feeling sick. God please let this end.

The door slams open and Maximilian Cunningham, Alex's clearly furious father enters.
