Afterglow

You are all exhausted. "Tom" sighs heavily and collapses on the sofa, still unable to process what just happened. He therefore closes his eyes and indulges in an oblivious sleep. You laboriously get up and glance half-aroused, half-embarrassed, at Tina and Mom. Only now you're fully aware of what you've done. You ponder for a few seconds, then you decide she's right, so you go back to the bathroom you went out just an hour ago; the bathtub is still wet, instead you opt for the douche. You wash without too much haste, but you don't stall on your body either. Not too much, at least.

You march out not bothering about drying, dripping your way to Kim's room. By the way, you should get used to calling it "your room", you think. You close your eyes and focus, until you you feel your hair fall on your back. You constate it worked, but you think it's funnier with the old way, as a normal girl would do it. You dress up and go downstairs, where you find your siblings still sleeping with a blanket on. Your mom is nowhere to be seen, but you didn't find her in her room: does this mean she already left?

You gulp, wondering what could happen if she did so. On the other side, sooner or later you will have to go out, right? While you ask yourself these things, you hear a car stop in front of your fence, and it didn't sound like your mother's or your father's one. So who is it? A friend of someone in your family? Or maybe only someone passing by?
