You dive into the bushes to hide from yet another ****, landing directly on its thorns.

Hahahahaha it's -2! It's -2! you think to yourself as you jump around for joy.

This causes you to be noticed and you get pinned by an arrow which kills you. But you do not care. Not this time. Do you know why? Because it was a -2!

A minute or so later you respawn in your clearing yet again. But with a giant smirk on your face. There is a way. THERE IS A WAY.

You have found the answer. The answer you never knew you had been looking for.

When you spawn in you have a plan. You're not just going to sit there and wait for the next adventurer to come along and farm your experience, it's time for you to get some experience of your own.

Heading right towards the thorn bush you tried to hide in from your previous life, you evaluate your options and decide to go for it. You jump back in to the bush.

You climb out and jump right back in.

You start humming to yourself and a flow of green energy begins to flow around you.

As your HP starts to refill your face breaks out into a smug grin. It's working. After you fully heal you feel a surge of excitement.

You repeat the process.

Was that what you thought it was? Did that really just happen? You flick open your stats screen and check.

Punch: Damage 1. Wildly swing your fist at a single target. Cost 2 mana.

Flee: 5% chance to escape from combat. Cost 10 mana.

Meditate: Restore 10% HP every 2 seconds gain experience for health regenerated. Cost 1 mana per second.

It worked! IT REALLY WORKED!

It seems the way the system works in Alyvyon is that you gain stats corresponding to how you got the experience to level up. Very interesting.

For the next few days you continued to hide from adventurers whilst repeating the process of gaining exp you have found.
