Adult Status

"You mean I'm going to become a little kid or something?" asked Morgan with alarm.

"No," answered her Mom, "It was your status we sold, not your actual age. You'll be the same you, but legally and socially you'll be a child."

"Legally sounds bad enough," said Morgan, "But what does socially mean?"

Her Mom shrugged, "Honestly I'm not sure how it works, but we'll figure it out soon enough. They did tell me that until you legally age back into an adult, your physical body won't age at all, so you'll just get to be young for longer than most people."

Morgan looked less than impressed by that news, but knew there was no point in arguing.
