You've only known this girl for like 10 minutes, but you feel you can trust her. You sit up, pass her her phone back, and say, "I...have a secret. Promise you won't tell anyone?"

Confused, Alexa replies, "Well, yeah, I guess."

You start to tell her, but you realize how many people are within ear shot. You suggest she meets you somewhere else. You realize you both have second period free, so you agree to meet in the hallway behind the gym.

The next few hours pass without incident. You hide in crowds to get through hallways without being noticed, and you avoid getting up in class as much as possible.
