Address your subjects.

After finally getting home and settling down, you decide to call everybody to the courtyard just outside of the main castle doors. Apart from specific furniture and less important projects, Castle Phoenix is almost completed. It's time for an official proclamation, especially after your meeting. There's no reason to keep secrets from everybody. Those that have come to live within your walls trust you so much to live that far from civilization. The last you can do is tell them what you know. Your party may be Niki, Eva, and Amara, but all residents here are a part of your team.

Niki. Eva. Amara. Nyllia. Yin. Peony. Snow. Alice. Delphi. Vivi. Luna. Laira. Jelly. Dajy. Klava. Raleza. Brizi. Vodrani. Tom. Bek. Zazra. Bill & Phil. Summer. Taiga. Stax. Koblix. Mipa. Lynx. Sen-nu. Mela. Including me, that's thirty-two people. Some live in the castle itself, while additional buildings are still being finished to house the rest. It really is like little village now. I never thought so many people would want to do this. I miss Dragonhide Manor, but this really is the next level. I wonder what's happened to our old home though.

You stand on a block of stone to increase your vantage, though no safe amount of bricks will raise you up enough to defeat Zazra in height. You're not exactly sure how to begin such a speech, but you clear your throat, and everybody looks at you with full attention.

"Well? I think it's safe to say Castle Phoenix is now a proper place to live. Thank you everyone who chose to come here despite the allegations against me. We're definitely going to need to deal with that, especially if we want to avoid the armies of Tivera. But for now, I'd just like to share with you where I've been the last few days. Listen up, because it gets pretty weird, especially if you don't know one specific thing about me already." You decide to take a page from William's book and draw your sword to hold up high before announcing, "I am Kyle Warren, and I guess I'm a Demon King for the time being whether I like it or not. But that's not the weirdest part. I'm also from another world!"

Not everybody around knew this fact, but they certainly do now. You proceed to explain it all--an abridged version anyway, only the important parts. It's definitely not the time to be discussing all the titillating details. But you explain how you came to Abso, why you ended up coming after Sa'dis to begin with, and then you quickly move onto the more recent events, which are likely more important for the people here. You tell them of all the figures at the meeting--Vex, Masumi, Kashura, William, Jika, Stilet, Elok, Meti, and Breiah. You can tell that Alice and Vivi are going to need further explanation, but that can come in private.

You sheathe your sword back into its scabbard. "And that's about it. I guess we're playing with the big boys now. But that's why we need to stay together. I don't care if this Elok Daven guy and his lab partner Breiah think they can manipulate us... manipulate me. Nobody is going to break down these walls. Sa'dis fell because he was careless and made enemies of us. We're not here to be a **** of evil. When I originally came here, I was hoping I could be the hero. We just want to stand up for one another. Some of us are here because they have nowhere else to go. I was pretty pissed off when I was **** out of my own home, but damn it if I won't open the doors of my new home for people like that. Our house was already filling up with wild folk. Now the house is just larger. I don't really know what else to say except don't piss off these other Demon Kings please. Just be cool and have fun. If you have any ideas for ways to improve our lives here, just come talk to me."

After a pause, your eyes snap to Luna as she begins to applaud. "That was lovely, darling," she says.

Then one by one, everybody claps, though some more enthusiastically than others. It may not be a roaring thunder from a thousand men and women, but the reaction instils you with confidence. The world can get weird, so you embrace the moments where things go smoothly.

Amara helps you down off the stone. She smiles bright. "A beautiful sentiment."

Your arm is tugged to the side by Eva. She giggles and says, "My heart is racing! See?" Then she takes your hand and pushes up against her chest.

The sudden gesture catches you completely off guard. "... You can't be doing this by accident."

"Huh?"

Niki laughs and wraps her arm around the bunnyfolk's neck. "There's no way Kyle can feel your heart through all that fat!"

Eva gasps, turns red, and turns around to grab her shoulders. "Excuse me? I'm not fat, and your chest isn't any smaller you know!"

"Yeah, but isn't that all boobs are?"

"Are you saying you're fat too?!"

"N-No! I'm fit as hell. What are you saying?"

"What are you saying?"

Amara walks over quietly. "Uhm. What does that make me?"

They both turn and stare at her chest in unison.

"Oh I see how it is." Eva crosses her arms. "You think you're all high and mighty because Kyle can feel your heartbeat more easily."

The elf's eyes turn down as she places her hand over her bust. "I am not flat..." she mutters.

You rub your head. "So, that thing I said about standing up for one another?"
