About Break Girl and the End of the Robot Mistresses

Thanks again for reading Break Girl and the End of the Robot Mistresses! The development will probably be slow, but I thank you for your patience. Here's a little bit of general info to help you enjoy the story. None of this is necessary to enjoy the story, though, so feel free to ignore.

First, unfortunately, I am not developing this in a totally organized manner (I tried! Didn't work for me!), so in order to avoid tags messing up down the line or things like that, I am developing each Robot Mistress encounter in "phases" separated by key scenes, with the plan to release in big chunks. Therefore, this will be a story that won't show up on the "updated stories" log very much, even when I release a ton of chapters at once. If you like the story, consider favoriting with the star at the bottom. You'll get a notice when there's updates! Also, it will be appreciated.

Besides the choice at the beginning of the story, you've already made an important decision: Is Break Girl a Heroine or an Anti-Heroine? Depending on how you chose Break Girl feels about Buster Girl, you'll get to see her as a star-struck fan-girl or an unlikely rival! Check your tags. Some dialogue and later choices will vary based on your choice. Neither is intended to be more difficult or affect rewards.

When the story finally gets moving, you ought to find many options to choose from to help guide Break Girl in her quest to rescue / conquer the Robot Mistresses. Here are some things you might want to try and aim to do when it's ready:

1) Lose! That's right: try losing, if you want to! You won't have to restart the story, just the "stage." Depending on how you feel about it, even seeing Break Girl lose might be fun...

2) Perfect win! Generally speaking, I'm going to try and have each route have at least one way to win without losing HP, using an E-Tank, or using any weapons of any kind, although it may not be obvious. This is mostly to satisfy "purist" players of the Mega Man titles, but if you win without taking damage, there might be an Easter Egg...

3) Domination win! If you know the Robot Mistress's weakness and you've stocked up on the weapon, when the time comes to fight, why not use it? You'll get to see what happens when you play with the girls too hard...

4) Flirting! Break Girl only has eyes for Buster Girl, right? Using her Break Girl Buster on the others is only her duty? Maybe not...

Can't do all that in one run? That's right: you can't. However, I intend to try and make it possible to replay stages when you've beaten them without losing your progress, so you can feel free to try other ways of playing. Please note that you can't change any options decided before reaching the enemy select / shop hub without restarting, though.

Please consider playing in game mode! I have done what I can to make chapters readable out of game mode, but a lot of that fun, customized text won't appear if you do.

Please be advised that all of the above may be subject to change (at the time of writing, I haven't even finished one Robot Mistress's stage, after all). Finally, please message me or leave a comment if anything seems broken and I'll do what I can to fix it. It's my first time with such a variable heavy game mode story, so I ask for your understanding.
