A woman unlike the normal clientele

Elegant. Refined. Stylish. Not words normally used to describe the sort of woman who came to the Griffin Arms, but the perfect summation of the woman who had just walked in. Her shoulder length hair led down to a black velvet dress that exposed just enough of her breasts and legs to occupy any man's attention without coming across as slutty. Kayla estimated that her heels cost more than any of the regulars made in a month and her purse double that. She must have been in her early thirties, but showed no sign of having done a day's work in her life.

She hadn't even spoken and Kayla had already decided she hated her.

Jason smiled as the woman slowly walked over to him. He prided himself on being able to tell which girls would live up to their Tinder pictures in real life and he hadn't let himself down tonight. He'd enjoyed his session with Jade earlier in the afternoon, plenty of youthful enthusiasm and naivety, but she was just the aperitif for the night's fun. A classy older woman with a killer body...this was going to be an evening to tell hi mates every last detail of.

"Hi" was all he said as she approached.

"Well" she said as she sat down opposite him "this is an interesting place you've picked to meet." The entire pub, Kayla included, were still focussed on her, and all of them understood that she thought the place beneath her.

"Just what does a girl have to do to get a drink round here?" she asked before making contact with Kayla "Waitress, could you bring the drinks menu over, preferably before I die of thirst"

She'd spoken now and Kayla decided her first instinct to hate her was correct.

The thing about places like the Griffin Arms is that they don't have drinks menus. And generally they don't do table service unless there's a very good reason to. Just for a moment Kayla pondered if she should bring her down a peg or two by making her queue at the bar with the commoners, or if she should give her the service that she was expecting.
