A wizard

On your way to your new owner, you are stopped briefly while your "for sale" tag is replaced with one inscribed with the name of your new owner. You are then quickly ushered to that owner - a fairly plain-looking middle aged man with a wide grin on his face. When the guard asks him about a magic lock, he declines it, stating that such a thing would actually detrimental for his purposes. You wonder to yourself what those purposes could be as he beckons you to follow him before he makes his way out of the **** market.

You follow your new master down a narrow side street for several minutes before he turns aside and descends a dark set of stairs. He stuffs a hand into his jacket and pulls out a large ring of keys, which he plays with for several minutes trying to find the specific key to open the door in front of him. Eventually he does find it and hurriedly pulls you into the basement then slams the door behind you and frantically locks it. As your eyes adjust to the dim light, you see many tables in front of you, paperwork scattered across most of them. Several tables you notice instead of being covered with papers have various sets of equipment with many colorful liquids inside.

Before you can more closely look over the room, your master grabs you by the arm and pulls you to the corner of the room, where a small cage is waiting for you. He points at the open gate and says "In there, ****, until I need you for my research. I have to prepare some things first." You get on your hands and knees and crawl into the cage. As soon as you are completely inside he slams the door behind you and hurriedly fastens a lock to it. You turn back around and sit, watching your new master get to work on whatever experiments he is about to do on you.
