A visit to the Hollywood Canteen.

Diana was slightly perturbed at Candy for asking what she was doing that evening in front of Major Treveor. It had put her in a somewhat awkward spot. Diana had decided in her own mind that before she attempted to date a man, and engage in more than a casual or official relationship with a sexual being she had been whose motives she had been taught to mistrust from her childhood. That she would instead try to move her relationship with Candy from that of trusted friend to lesbian lover.

Diana was less than satisfied with self manipulation. It was pleasant enough while she was pleasuring herself, but afterward, she missed the intimacy of soft, female flesh pressing against hers. Cathy didn’t have a serious boyfriend, and she and Diana often went out together to the various clubs and restaurants around the capitol when they were off duty. But, despite the fact that she and Candy were what she thought of as best friends, the blonde WAC had no idea that Diana was Wonder Woman.

“Did you forget, Candy? You and I were going to go to the Hollywood Canteen at the USO club tonight,” Diana looked into Candy’s pale blue eyes. Casually, she brushed her shin over Candy’s, and a shiver of desire shot through her body. She felt warm and slightly damp between her legs. She hoped she’d made it obvious that tonight she wanted it to be a just girls night.

Candy paused and look from Diana to Major Treveor. “Oh, jeeze, Yeah now I remember. Who‘s gonna be there?

Diana winked her thanks at Candy, and reaching under her desk pulled out her regulation purse, and grabbed the flyer. “It says that Rita Hayworth, Betty Grable, Cary Grant, John Garfield and Veronica Lake are supposed to be there, among other surprise guests”

“Oh well, Ladies.” Major Trevor said as he walked to his office. “Lieutenant, see that you have the summaries to me as soon as you can,” The window of the door rattled as it closed behind Major Trevor..

“Thanks Candy, It’s not that I would mind going out with the Major, its just that I’m not sure it would be right. Him being my boss and all.”

The blonde giggled. “You wouldn‘t be alone, Diana. Lots of the girls are dating their bosses. And some of them a bit more than that, if you know what I mean.” Candy walked around Diana to the other side of the desk.

“I’m not that kind of girl.. Anyway, I just haven’t met the right fellow yet. So, will you go with me to the canteen tonight?”

“Of course,” Cathy said and said her good byes before walking out of the office and back down the hall. The day sped by with reports, teletypes and encoded intel to be decrypted. But finally, Diana met Candy in the hallway. The two of the exited the massive War Department building, and stepped out into the street after passing through security.

Diana hailed a cab, and the two of them slid into the backseat. “Take us to the USO club. The one where the Hollywood Canteen is going on, okay?” “Sure lady, whatever you want.” the driver responded, and pulled the yellow Chevy out into traffic.
