A vampiress

Your faction had received information about a gathering of demonologists. They all belonged to the enemy faction and there was little doubt it would spell little good for the war effort.

So you were sent in. Dressed like a fellow dark mage, you snuck into the grove and discovered what the demonologists were up to. They were about to summon a powerful demonlord from the netherworld. A regular demon might be easy enough to deal with, but demons were an unruly bunch. They generally refused to obey anyone unless he had proven to be stronger then them. Demon lords were the leaders of demons, and we expected to have proven to many of their fellows they really were the strongest. There was little doubt you had to stop this ritual from completing.

That was when you saw her. A beautiful woman with pale skin and two teeth that were a little sharper then they normally should be. There was only one kind of people like that in the world and that were vampires. Ancient creature of darkness devoted to **** and unlife.

With you being a practitioner of light magic, she was the complete opposite of you. You considered how wonderful it would be for you to have her. Or better yet, purify her and turn her into a human again, saving her from this curse.

You revealed your true self and released your magic. A bright flash of light blinded them all. You cast bolts of light left and right and turned these dark mages into pillars of flame. Before anyone knew what was going on, they were already dead.

The vampires put up a little struggle, but you managed to capture her and take her to your castle.

This castle was a true fortress of light. It was actually a large temple. Whenever people in the country died, they came here to be cremated. Then their ashes would be brought to the fields and spread out so they could fertilize the land which had given so much to them.

Some people would come before they died and would request to be trained as an acolyte. When they were pure of heart, the priests agreed to this and they were initiated.

You decided to trap the vampires in the dungeon. Since she was a creature of the night, she would need to stay out of the sunlight, lest she'd burn away into dust. It has been a few days since you returned and were getting curious about her.
