Chapter 57 by Marcus Cooper
What does she want to play?
A two person game; Komaru's not included.
Looking over the available toys, Sayaka saw something that caught her interest: two dolls dressed like a just married couple.
"I know, let's play marriage!"
Makoto blushed, knowing what marriage meant from his parents.
"We can't play that; we're too young to get married!"
Sayaka simply chuckled, knowing he'd respond that way.
"We aren't actually getting married, Makoto-kun. That's why it's called playing. After we're done with that, we can play house since we're pretending we're married."
"I guess it's okay..."
"Good! Now, we just take our places and hold hands like this..."
Sayaka took both of Makoto's hands in her's when they were an appropriate distance apart, which is to say, very close.
"There! Now we look just like my parent's wedding photos."
Makoto felt a sudden weight on his lower half.
"Komaru, let go of my leg! I'm not even going anywhere this time!"
"You're going to get married! You're too young to get married!"
Drawn by the commotion, Mrs. Naegi went up to check on the three.
"Komaru, let go of your brother's leg."
The youngest Naegi didn't want to do it, but she knew what would happen if she didn't, and with her mother looking forward to this, she probably wouldn't be allowed to come back if she had to get physical this time. With that dealt with, the mother went back downstairs, leaving Komaru to her thoughts.
"So, what do we do now?"
Makoto didn't expect to hold hands with Sayaka, but wasn't going to object since she initiated.
"Well, normally, people kiss at the end of weddings..."
Makoto blushed at the thought of having to do that...
"But mama says I'm too young to kiss boys, and this is a play wedding, so we can just hug instead."
Comfortable enough with that, Makoto and Sayaka's arms wrapped around each other's backs. Komaru watched all of this with a scowl, as in her mind, Sayaka's innocent smile was actually a devilish grin, and her hands were claws, taking onii-chan away from her.
How does she respond?
