A single smart move

The episode went as usual up until Lewis went off to shower. Instead of placing the bottle of Ambergris, a hundred year old bottle of unknown origins from the internet, on the table he instead placed it in one of his pockets. One the idea of leaving it behind was a bad move for various reasons. From being a love potion for the girls to it likely driving customers away to worse ideas.

So Lewis has the bottle instead of Nate, and therefore has the effect on Mermaids Nate did. Does he manage to wash it off before encountering one of the mermaids? Does the bottle leak? Could the formula cause a more permanent attractive hypnotic effect?
