A simple side step and much to discuss

Upon reaching the top of those stairs, Blair found an oddly shaped door. It looked like an outline of a roaring fire, but when she approached it to knock as several notifications appeared.

She blushed slightly as she read that while thinking, 'Family? I never knew he felt that way about me.' She sighed softly as her thoughts began to wander, 'With what I now know of the Abyss. I know why he kept this from me. It was for my protection.' She giggled with a soft smile and thought, 'That is just like him, always thinking of others.' She sighed softly with a shake of her head, forcing her mood to change back. She wouldn't allow herself to get caught up in this moment. There were more pressing matters to attend to. She wouldn't allow herself to waste time daydreaming. Her smile quickly faded as her mind returned to the matter at hand, Zane. He needed to pay for what he had done and for that. She needed to be far more serious than she had ever been before in her life. She walked over to the door, but when her hand went to touch the door to knock. Both, it and the wall began to waver, vanishing shortly after from view, leaving a rather large zen garden in its wake. She saw a few large stones surrounded by several circular lines. One was to the left, another was in the center, and the last was to the right. Leading to these large stones were fifteen, foot sized, stones, five to each large rock and each trail had its own unique zigzag line work leading towards their stone. The one to the left had its zigzag on the left side of its path, the center on both sides, and the right on the right side of its path. She looked around a moment before calling out. "Mr. Daisuke? Where are you?" Nothing was the only answer she received, but in its place a soft blue flame appeared a few feet above the middle stone.

After a moment of looking around, Blair took a step on one of the small stones heading towards the large stone in the center, a similar pink flame appeared a few feet above the large stone to the left. Meanwhile a similar yellow flame appeared a few feet above the large stone to the right. She took another step and each flame grew slightly larger, but before she could take another step. A surprising sound came from behind her, a second later, it was replaced by Yoshito's voice. "Ah, I see the wisps are having fun today. They are simply playing a game with you, but I promise. They are quite harmless." Blair looked back slightly, but not enough to see Yoshito. A second after, she looked once again at the flames and used Observe on each one of them.

She shook her head after reading the information available, but what she was about to witness was far more surprising. When she turned around, she was shocked to see a rather handsome and cute Kitsune, standing behind her. His face reminded her of Yoshito, but his face was far too young. If she had to wager a guess. She would bet that he was about her age. He had focused golden fox-like eyes, long silver hair, fox-like ears, and nine fox-like tails swaying behind him. He was even wearing Yoshito's clothing from earlier, but when he spoke that made her realize that this was indeed Yoshito. "Now that we are in a safe space, we can finally talk." His eyes looked her over gently, a look of worry overtook his expression before he continued to speak. "Though I am glad that you are physically unharmed. I can't say I am pleased to see how very upset you are. I have never seen your aura this dark before." He lifted a hand up to her cheek and gently caressed as he continued to speak. "It pains me to see you in such pain. I know the Abyss can be a rather dark place, but I always felt you could handle anything, if given half a chance. Please, tell me what has happened." She felt a wave of emotion wash through her very being. She leaned forward, moving to wrap her arms around his waist, pulling him close and into a tight hug, a few tears streamed down her face as she buried her face into his chest. She felt his hand move to gently caress the back of her head as she explained what had happened during her last four days since Gaia had activated her powers.

After about two hours of explanation, Yoshito sighed softly and said. "Zane Harper and Master Tong. I didn't expect to hear that they were the cause of your pain." When Blair finally lifted her head, she saw a few tears running down his cheek. Yoshito continued to speak as his score ticked up to 65. "If only Gaia had led you to me after awakening your powers. I could have shown you a better path. One with less pain, but sadly, every path in the Abyss has its own level of strife." He brushed away her tears before wiping away his own and said. "As much as I know that you wish to start training and get back at Zane for what he has done. It is too soon to rush into anything. You must first take care of yourself before continuing." He kissed her forehead gently before saying. "It is best that you rest before we speak more on this. It is much too dangerous for you to leave tonight, but I promise we will talk about what needs to be done tomorrow." Blair let out a soft gasp when Yoshito swept her off her feet. He began to walk around the zen garden. Once he was about half way around the zen garden, she could see a small room in the back that had been hidden by some plants. While her eyes were focused on that, Yoshito continued to speak. "I will handle things from here and when you awaken. I will make sure breakfast is ready for you." She blushed deeply as she listened, her eyes began to close as she leaned against him. She could feel some of the weight from this day lifting, but she was still scarred by it. Her mind began to wonder about what the next morning would bring. Was Yoshito trying to distract her in an attempt to derail her plan for ****? Hmm, did he just want her to rest on it so she could realize what she truly wanted? Or did he know just what she needed and wanted her to rest while he took time to prepare it? Blair was certain that Yoshito only wanted what was best for her after all.
