A quiet house

When you arrive home, you’re surprised by how quiet it is. You realize immediately why; Naia’s not there. In fact, Aisha is the only one home. She greets you with a smile. “Naia and Lylah decided to go out tonight, something about seeing the sights.”

You chuckle. “And left you behind?”

She nods. “Well, someone needs to keep you company! I imagine you’re pretty used to having someone around by now.”

Smiling, you sit down beside her on the couch. “I am, but I’m spoiled, all you beautiful women treat me so well.”

The raptor girl chuckles. “And you treat us well. How does it feel to have a loving harem?”

You laugh. “Strange, honestly. I was never particularly popular before I came here. Now I’m drowning in affection. And happily, I should add.”

Aisha leans her head against your shoulder. “You’re a good man, Greg. You deserve this.”

You smile. “And how do you feel, Aisha? It seems like we’re going to add several more people to the household. You’re not jealous, or feeling neglected?”

She kisses your cheek. “It’s sweet of you to ask. But no, not at all. That’s how the bond works. As long as you’re good to us, we’ll be happy being with you. It doesn’t hurt that the girls from the workshop are all cute!”

You laugh. “Well, I’m glad you feel that way. I worry about neglecting you. I wouldn’t want you to feel like I was leaving you behind.”

Aisha shakes her head. “Don’t worry, Greg. We’re bonded, but we’re not mindless! We all still have opinions, and will voice them. Naia especially!”

You nod. “Loudly, and emphatically. Ok, I won’t worry too much, then!”

Aisha hugs you. “It’s touching that you think of it. It just reminds me that we made the right choice with you.”

You smile, gently stroking her red hair. Her feathered tail curls affectionately around your leg. She looks up at you with a smile, her yellow eyes sparkling. “So, we have the house to ourselves. I wonder what we could do to pass the time…”

You laugh. “You’re more subtle than Naia, but not much.”

She grins and gives you a squeeze. “So you have an idea what we should do, then?”

You smile.
