They had been sitting across from each other in their rather luxurious booth, any restaurant that even dreamed an Alpha would come in made sure to have at least one or two well appointed booths for their top ranked patrons, this meant that it was rather easy for Maggie to slide around the table and press herself close to him. He could feel the heat coming off her. He could remember learning in school that the massive intelligence and strength of Alphas meant that their metabolisms were both crazy strong and crazy efficient meaning that Alphas were nearly always warm. It also meant that Alphas didn't need to eat that much more than non-Alphas which was nice. Suddenly Maggie's lips were on his and he realized that the feeling of remembering an entirely new life had been so enrapturing he had completely forgotten that he had the most gorgeous woman his old self had ever met snuggling up to him. She broke the kiss after about ten solid seconds and out of the corner of his eye John was pretty sure he saw one of the Bosses a few tables over yelp and grab at her crotch, cumming just from seeing two Alphas kissing.
Maggie backed away slightly and looked John in his eyes. "So what do you think?" She said. Her voice was sultry and low washing over him, damn it was like she had become three times sexier from when this date had started. Now of course came the awkward part.
"I'm really sorry but you're just so beautiful I was too enraptured to hear the question." He said desperately spinning and finding that his new Alpha brain was pretty good at this kind of thing.
"Well I'll take that as a good sign then." She purred. "I think we should get married."
"Um, huh, wah?" He said so baffled by this that even his new Alpha brain wasn't able to keep up. Just a few hours ago he'd been being made fun of by an elderly bookstore owner and now he was being proposed to by a woman who was a solid 15 out of 10.
"It's solid from all angles." She was continuing switching from sexy mode to near business mode. "I mean to start off the biggest clients like to see Alpha pairs heading companies." He thought about it and had to concede that point. "Also it tends to make the organization more stable, hell I don't really mind if you want to keep fucking Sharon and Carol I want to keep fucking them too but a clearly drawn line between Alpha partners and booty calls will make things far more efficient and stable, hell I don't want to alarm you but I think Carol is actually under the impression that you would consider marrying beneath your class." John nodded sagely, she was making a fair deal of sense. "Plus we are both clearly attracted to each other." As she said this last sentence she moved in and kissed his ear then suddenly moved back to her seat as though nothing had happened.
"Think about it okay John?"
"Um okay Maggie I will."
"Good, now I hear that the chef hear is some FAT LARDASS PIG, but that she's pretty damn skilled so I'm going to try the special." John was a bit surprised, she had been just talking about marriage and now was chatting about her order. He tried to go back to the subject but she told him just to think about and refused to talk anymore on the subject.
