"All things considered, I think the best present you could give her would be some time alone with just the two of you," is your response.

Almost immediately, the excitement and happiness begins to melt from the Tamaranean's face. You are quick to correct yourself, however.

"What I mean is, I'll help you pick up some things and when it comes time to celebrate, I'll make sure Cyborg and Beast Boy aren't around so you two can fully enjoy yourselves."

"But friend Daniel? I have come to understand that the birthday parties are much more enjoyable when one is surrounded by their closest friends and family members?" Star questions.

"Normally true. But I know you and Raven don't usually get much time alone together. I'm sure she'll understand once you explain that to her."

"What about the others?"

"We'll drop off our gifts, wish her a happy birthday and celebrate with her for a little bit. But I'll convince them to give you two the night alone."

"Not that I am not grateful for the offer, but why would that be more special than the other times Raven and I have had to ourselves?"

At this, you just smile and put your arm around the orange-skinned girl and you begin walking with her back into the hallway.

"Starfire," you begin, "I am about to help educate you on just how much more special it can be. But first, we need to pick up some 'party favors' for the occasion."
