A new heroine?

"You did a great job." Her mother said, seeming to barely notice Janet was NAKED as she put her hand on Janet's shoulder. "Even without the costume, you went in their and saved the bank and those people!"

"Are you kidding?" Janet yelped as she slipped away from her mother. She grabbed a couch cushion and hugged it to her bare body. "I got shot, got stabbed, stripped naked and blown up! On top of all that, the bad guys got away!"

"It was your first try!" Her mother said. "You barely know how to use your powers, and you've never been in a fight. But, ever time you go out there you're learning more and more. You'll be an expert in no time."

"How can I go out in public ever again?" Janet sank into the couch, covering her face. "I was just NAKED in public for like an hour!"

"I've been watching the news." Her mother explained. "No one saw your face, no one knows who you are. If you go out with your costume, you probably won't be recognized."

"Oh. Well that's good." Janet said weakly.

"I know you. You're your father's daughter. And, when people are in need, you'll be there." Her mother encouraged.

"Okay." Janet sighed. "Now, I'm going to go get dressed and not show my face for a week!" Janet shuffled away, still hugging the couch cushion to her bare body.
