A nerd

Terry almost laughed as he saw a shorter guy who stood there. He wasn’t a scrawny guy but he definitely wasn’t any athlete. This loser looked like he spent more time in the library than the gym. “Go home, loser,” Terry said. “Before I humiliate you.”

The nerd grinned. “I’m not gonna be the loser in this case. And if you do win, you get to humiliate me in front of all these girls. Seems like a golden opportunity for you. My name’s Eugene by the way.”

Terry rolled his eyes. “Okay, Eugene. Get up here. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
