A negotiation

"This is Ms. Solo's Hollywood agent," you say to the police through the door, "I am letting you guys in under orders from her. Try not to cause a scene."

"We were sent here to arrest her on domestic **** charges her family filed against her in Seattle," the officers tell you as they enter her room, "it seems Hope ran to California...and we presume, to you, to try and beat the charges."

"This true, Hope? Is that the only reason you came to me and wanted to sign with me?" you ask her as she shakes her head no, mouthing to you that she needs to explain everything to you, but not right now in the presence of police.

"I'm going back to Seattle with her, but I'm not her legal counsel, so I assume she needs to hire one," you tell them, a bit perturbed about the situation you currently find yourself in, but hoping to handle it without her being smeared to badly in the press.

"We have to arrest her if she's going back to Seattle, its the only way we can legally expedite her," they tell you, Hope allowing them to cuff her as you follow her out the back of the hotel to the squad car.

"Look at me Hope," you tell her, her head hanging down as she fears that you are angry with her, "I don't know what your intentions were when you went into business with me, but I'm your agent now, and this will be taken care of."

"Just don't let this ruin my career, or make the girls look bad," she tells you, kissing you on the lips one last time before the cops take her in, knowing you wouldn't be seeing much of her until you got to Seattle with her.
