A nasty fall and some snips

The referee tries to check on Shirai, but Candice isn’t having any of that. She pushes the referee away and yells that she is beating Io her way. LeRae then drags the Shirai to her feet, and takes her over by the announce table. With a hold on Io’s wrist, Candice goes for an irish whip but Io is still quick and reverses the momentum and has Candice be the one to go face first into the corner post! Candice drops down to a knee, but Io won’t let her recover. She grabs a handful of Candice’s hair and the back of her trunks, then throws Candice over the announce table and into the laps of Wade Barrett and Vic Joseph!

Candice goes to the ground as Vic and Wade stand up from their seats to avoid the action. As Io gets on top of the announce table, Vic mentions that there is a loophole to this match. The wording of the contract stated that after the Steel Cage match, neither Dakota nor Tegan will be allowed to strip each other or any other roster member. That “no stripping” doesn’t apply to the rest of the roster!

Io kicks off the table cover and the monitors as Candice begins crawling onto the table as well. Now with Candice up there as well, Io pulls her up and sets her up for a brainbuster. Io tries to lift up her opponent, but Candice weights herself down. She tries it again with no luck. On the third try, Candice is lifted off her feet but wiggles around too much for Io. Candice lands back on the announce table and shoots a foot out and kicks Shirai right on the injured knee.

The Joshi Judas is **** to let go of her grasp on Candice, and she takes a step back as she almost loses her balance. This gives Candice an opening as she bends over and grabs Vic’s laptop off the table, swings it, and clobbers Io right across the face! Io flies backwards off the table, sending into Wade’s rolling chair that tips over and drops Io on the back of her neck on the floor! Hopefully the warranty hasn’t expired on Vic’s laptop or the company will buy him a new one. Pieces have been chipped off it now and it doesn’t help when Candice throws it down, making matters worse for it.

After the nasty shot and fall, the referee has one of the ringside doctors check on Io so he can hold Candice back. “It’s no disqualifications! She shouldn’t be getting checked on!” shouts Candice. While she is right that there are no disqualifications, it is up to the referee’s and doctor’s discretion if a competitor can continue if they don’t respond themselves. Candice knows she needs to get to Io to win this, cause she needs to win this herself.

Candice again pushes the referee, then she grabs the doctor by the shirt and tosses him aside too. She goes to begin stripping the pants off of Io when she notices an issue: Io is wearing a one piece bodysuit. The top half and bottom half are connected by the two middle pieces! This will take forever to rip off.

While Io is still hurting, Candice needs to get a step ahead. She can’t do that with the way Io’s gear is made though. Candice leaves Io alone for a moment and goes back to search underneath the ring. The first weapon she pulls out is a plastic axe! If she was wanting to consider chopping off one of her opponent’s limbs, this might come in handy. However, not right now in this situation.

After tossing the axe aside, Candice discovers a black leather kit bag held together by dirty brown straps. She lays it on the apron, unrolls the bag, and finds multiple **** tools inside. A saw, a hammer, a knife, handcuffs, among other objects. The one that catches her eye is the scissors. Candice selects to use the scissors, and marches back towards the wounded champion.

Like a hunter going after it’s prey, Candice gets back over to Io and grabs the middle straps of her gear. With some quick and logical snips, the straps are split into two and now separated as their own top and bottom. Candice starts to slide the lower half of Io’s gear but stops as Io starts to move a bit. There won’t be enough time to remove the pants all together.

Thinking on her feet, LeRae gets on top of Shirai’s legs and takes the scissors to the string holding her gear together on the side. Two snips on both legs to where the strings cross over at the top and it’s tight grip that the gear has on Io’s thighs loosens. As Candice does the final cut, Io punches Candice straight in the jaw!

Candice falls backwards and releases the scissors from her grip. The referee is quick to pick them up as Io gets to her feet and pushes Candice from behind into the announce table, making her bend over from the impact. Io then, again, grabs a handful of Candice’s trunks and hair before whipping her around and tossing her into the steel steps! As this goes on, the referee places the scissors on top of the announce table and away from the action.
