A morning late to school

“CRAP!”

Komaru leapt out of bed as soon as she awoke, seeing that while she’d set a time on her alarm clock, she’d forgotten to actually turn it on. She only had a little bit of time before she’d be late for her first day as a reserve course student at Hope’s Peak!

“Gotta hurry!” Komaru said as she ran to the bathroom, shedding clothes as she went. She could pick them up later, and since she was currently alone in the house (her mom and dad had gone to work and Makoto always left early for school), she didn’t mind being naked before even making it to the bathroom door. She leapt into the shower and turned it on. There would unfortunately only be time for a rinse, but she still rubbed herself down with a sponge a bit. After five minutes, she turned it off and leapt back out, grabbing a towel as she stepped out, dripping all over the floor. She dried her hair off as best she could with just a towel, thankful for her short hair, being easier to dry, and, after rubbing herself down very briefly, enough to dry off her body enough for clothes, she draped the towel down over her shoulder and rushed downstairs, still naked.

She dropped two pieces of bread in the toaster as she once again resumed drying herself with one hand while reaching into the fridge with the other. She never went a day without breakfast no matter what. As she got the butter and a knife out, the bread, now toast, popped up. She pulled it out, nearly dropping it from how hot it was and plopped it on the plate. She began to spread the butter over the toast, bouncing on her feet impatiently as she did so, causing her assets to bounce as well, though she was so worried about everything else that she didn’t notice.

Once it was done, she glanced at the clock, and let out a squeal. She was almost out of time! She threw the towel onto the table and grabbed the cooled off pieces of toast. She walked to the door, where she had a backpack already prepared, slipped it on, as well as some shoes, without even needing to look, and ran out the door, locking it behind her.
