A little quirk

Cayley started to giggle as she absentmindedly said. "Mm, no. Not there, Lex." This drew Sofia and Divi's attention toward her as another soft giggle was heard. "Mm, no, I swear. I am only doing this to make Divi happy. Wha? Um, no. I, I didn't say stop..." Divi and Sofia started to giggle after hearing Cayley. Shortly after, Cayley snapped out of it. She was blushing deeply when she noticed they were staring at her. "Why are you both staring at me? Do I have something on my face?" Divi chuckled and shook her head while walking over to Cayley to gently plant a kiss upon her cheek. "You were just being cute is all."

Cayley's cheeks grew even more red. Who knew a woman's cheeks could turn so red? "Oh?" With a soft smile upon her face, Sofia turned to head for the door. "Well, as cute as this is. I need to go. You two be good. Okay?" Divi quickly moved up behind Sofia and touched her shoulder. "Wait, Aunt Sofia. I'll come too. But Cayley and I need to eat first." Sofia blinked, feeling a little confused about why Divi desired to come with. This prompted an unexpected reaction when she turned to face Divi, a small section of the hair upon her head curled up into a small question mark. "What do you mean? I just want to ask him a few questions."

Divi was about to answer, but her eyes were drawn to the movement above Sofia's head. "Um, is your hair supposed to do that?" Sofia blinked with an even more puzzled look upon her face. "What do you mean? My hair looked fine in the mirror earlier." Cayley began to point upward, causing Sofia to pull out a pocket mirror. What she saw was shocking in more ways than one. A few strands of hair were curled into an adorable question mark upon the top of her head. "Oh no.. I can't go outside like this." However, as she thought about brushing it back down. It laid back down on its own, causing her to let out a soft sigh of relief.

Sofia began to pout. "My hair shouldn't have a mind of its own.." Divi tilted her head slightly. "I've never heard of someone's hair doing that. Is it because your a cosmetologist?" Cayley burst out into uncontrollable laughter. While Divi looked over at Cayley with quite the bewildered look upon her face, Sofia began to shake her head. "No. A cosmetologists hair cannot move on its own. At least, not that I've seen before." She let out a soft sigh. "I woke up after..." She thought about what she was going to say and quickly opted to omit a sexual detail.

Sofia put away her pocket mirror as her hair changed from pink to red then back to black. "After I woke up, my hair could move on its own." She brought a finger to her lips. "That's not quite right. My hair reacts to what I am thinking would be more accurate." Cayley giggled for a few more seconds before calming down enough to speak. "Mm, that was good. This certainly sounds like something Gaia would do. Why, oh why, she gave your hair the ability to reveal your emotions is beyond me, but. Perhaps it has other benefits you are unaware of." She gently kissed Divi's cheek. "Speaking of which, let's head to the kitchen. It's hard to think on an empty stomach."

Sofia was still confused, but followed them into the kitchen. When they stepped into the kitchen, they could all smell Divi's wonderful cooking. It wasn't anything fancy, but she had cooked some shrimp with mac and cheese. Shortly after sitting at the table, Cayley began to speak again. "I personally haven't met anyone with abilities related to their hair, but I do know of a wonderful shop at the mall that should be able to point you in the right direction." Cayley tilted her head a bit. "Since Divi wants to go with you. I can show you where it is."

Divi was setting the table by this time. "I want to go to keep Aunt Sofia safe. Daddy wouldn't want anything to happen to her and nor would I." After which, she moved over to sit on Cayley's lap and nuzzled against her. "I have a wonderful girlfriend that wants me to be happy, right?" Cayley bit her bottom lip as she nodded. "Of course." Divi began to pout slightly. "You'll feed me too, right?" Cayley started to giggle, picking up a shrimp to blow on it before placing it in between her lips, offering it to Divi.

Without a thought, Divi leaned in and kissed Cayley, stealing that shrimp right from her lips. As they kissed, Sofia's cheeks began to redden. Cayley and Divi were being rather adorable. Every thirty seconds or so this continued until the food was gone. However, every once in a while Cayley's left hand would run along Divi's side as they kissed. Sofia started to wonder if Lex would do the same with her someday. It looked like a lot of fun. Once everything was cleaned up, they followed Sofia out to her car. Parked near Lex's mailbox was her white two door 2015, mini cooper.

Cayley and Divi decided to sit in the back while Sofia drove. On their drive over, Sofia began to wonder what she'd find at this shop. Would she find what she needed at Sensual Luxury? Could they help with her abilities? And what of Lex? Was it possible that they knew where Lex was too?
