A lesson in manufacturing

You spend the first half of your day working on the press with another employee. It's menial, hard, and doesn't require a heck of a lot of thinking. The job you've been given on your first day is certainly an entry level position.

Your coworker let you know that you only needed to do 4 things to keep Jesse off your back. One, work hard. Two, do what you're told to do. Three, don't be late. This is his pet peeve. And last, be safe. You think you can do all those things.

The first half of your day passes without incident. After lunch Jesse comes by the press station. "Hey boss, new guy's doin' good so far. Learnin' quick." "Good to hear." Jesse replies. He turns to you, "Hey Asshole, the big boss called ya up to his office. Looks like this'll be on the regular fer you too. I don't know who's dick you sucked son but I expect you to pull your full day's work on the line like everyone else! Now get out of my face!"

You wordlessly head off the line and head to Wayne's office.
