First lesson

You enter Wayne's office. "Hey John. Take a seat. You settled in?" You do so, "Yeah, for the most part. If I may be frank, your foreman is an ass. He a Whittman?" You ask. Wayne decides to answer your question with one of his own. "What would you do if he was, son?" You mull over it for a bit. "Well, the Whittmen have to remain concealed. I would do nothing about him at work, and as long as he's abiding by our rules and holds our ideals as a Whittman, there's no reason to do anything to him."

Wayne nods. "Head of the Whittmen, that's the right move. You don't mix the business with the Society. But you do demand his respect as a man, and as his leader in the Whittmen during our gatherings." Wayne pauses. "Anyhow, I called you to help you on your progression. Every Whitman has a few things they have trouble dealing with. I want to see if I could help!"

"Thanks Wayne, I appreciate that. You know, Jesse is going to be a trouble I think.. he expects a full day on the line-" Wayne cuts you off, "As well he should, son. But don't you worry none about him, anytime you're talkin' to me is on the clock. We'll tell him we're trying a new training regime and exploring all skill sets of a new employee. He'll understand."

You breath a sigh of relief. "Whew, thanks. So I guess, what's the first lesson?" Wayne again laughed. "Ah, eager student! I like that! You're gonna go places both as a Whittman and as my employee. Well, the first mistake most Whitman often make is not dealing with their singles past."
