A home-state connection

"Maren! Hi. My name's John. Nice to meet you. Unlike most of the guys here, I've been a fan of yours for a while since I come from Texas, too," you tell her, smiling on the inside when you see her smile light up at knowing that about you.

"Well lucky for you, Texas boys always have a shot with me," she tells you, rubbing your arm as she directs you to the line, the official autograph session beginning.

"Wait for me over there by the bus baby. Something about you is telling me I need to learn more about you," she tells you as you take your autograph with you and disappeared around the corner where her bus was.

From your perch there, you saw many guys try to make more time with her, only for her to shoot them down, which quickly became a point of pride for you, since she was waiting to see you again.

"Okay John. I think I'm done here. So let me just give these security guards the slip and we'll be gone," Maren tells you when she is done, the thought finally donning on you that she plans to be alone with you on it.

Which is when you began scheming in your mind how to go from that to getting lucky with her, without it seeming to obvious that's what you wanted.
