A hitch and a new plan

Unfortunately for Warren obtaining said amulet was proving a lot more challenging that he had originally thought especially since it had been destroyed sometime ago so now he was stuck in Sunnydale home to his arch nemesis, his van broken down and without the great power he so desperately sought.

As the rain beat down Warren darted through the streets seeking refuge in the one place he didn?t expect the slayer to turn up, a demon bar. Of course the last time he?d been in her he?d made several exaggeration regarding the slayers living status and had ended up fleeing town but right now it was better than what would happen if Buffy ran into him on the streets.

Stepping inside the numerous clientele, some demon, some vampire and even a few humans were hauled up drinking.

He looked around until he noticed someone talking to a demon passed on the table. Warren went over to him.

?Hey you?re Ethan Rayne aren?t you.?

The man looked up, ?And what if I am??

Warren pulled the demon aside dropping it on the floor realizing it was in fact dead and not passed out, ?Oh man you are a legend, that Halloween stunt and those age regressing candy bars genius.?

?Do I know you?? asked Ethan.

?Warren, Warren Meers leader of the trio, we were the big bads in this town all last year.?

?No never heard of you.?

?Oh come on the Trio, we built robots screwed with the slayer drover her insane, made her invisible even shot her.?

?Still mean nothing, now listen mate, leave me in peace to finish my pint.?

?Oh come on if you?re in town you must be planning something against the slayer, you always do something to her.?

?Actually I just come here to screw with old Ripper just so happens that girl is the quickest way to do it her or his girlfriend, that teacher woman.?

?So what you got planned this time, come on I won?t tell.?

?Nothing last time I messed with the slayer I wound up in a US army prison and besides they?re raising a small army here now, potential slayers trying to fight the big bad that drew me here in the first place.?
