You were walking around in one of the prison camps, searching for someone. Nobody in particular, really. You had a created a few monsters and wanted to test their strengths. This of course required a victim to test them on. A guinea pig, if you will.
That was when you found him. You had no idea who he was, and didn't even care. All you knew was that he was young and possessed remarkable strength. He would do perfectly.
You told the guards to have him brought to your laboratory. When you got there, he was already in 'the pit". It was a round arena dug into the floor. Your captive would make that place it's home, and you would regularly send a monster on him to see the results.
As for yourself, you would be watching from a luxurious chair from above the arena. Since this arena was a steep 3 meters down, you doubted that either he or any of the monsters would be able to escape.
Now then, time to send the first monster onto him.
