What do you see? Is it what you've been "fearing"?
A group of hooligans.
You spin around to see a group of three men coming out of the side of a building. The wide alcove was lit up a bit better than the rest of the alley, but it seems their exit knocked a dozen-or-so glass bottles onto the ground.
“Dude! The fuck!?”
“What? I wasn’t the one who put them there!”
“Don’t you two look at me! I ain’t never touched them!”
They immediately start bickering, angry at the loss of what was probably their drinks for the evening. They’re distracted for the moment, giving you a window to get away… but they do seem like they'd the local area... they might be able to give you a ride.
Still, you quickly check around, noticing a small alcove you could hide in until they go back inside, or just book it down the alley if you can get your legs to move…
