A gas fills the room

The canister opens a soon as it hits the floor, releasing a pale blue gas.

"Computer, what is this?" you ask alarmed.

"Sample #128," the computer responds as you run towards the door.

"Beginning test of sample #128," the computer responds.

You try to open the door, but it is locked.

"Computer open the door!" you order.

"Cannot open the door once the test is in progress" it announces so calmly.

"I am THE captain, and I say open the door," you yell, breathing in the strange gas.

You begin coughing, and your vision becomes faint.

"Override enabled" the computer announces opening the door.

You stumble out coughing heavily and collapsing onto the floor in the hallway outside of the lab.

You stay there your vision becoming faint, you feel a harsh burning sensation everywhere like you are on fire.

"Computer what does sample #128 do?" you ask as you begin to blackout.

"Sampl....ight........heighte..." the computer says in a distorted voice as blackness begins to take you over.
