A few days later...

Ash woke up for some reason. He could hear the sound of his wife softly mewing in her sleep. Everything in the room looked normal. The wooden walls, the plush bed, the cracks in the eggs-

WAIT, WHAT?

"Mew, honey, wake up." Ash said, shaking her a bit to wake her up. "Yes, Ashie?" She said in a half-asleep state. "Our eggs are hatching!" Immediately, Mew's eyes snapped open. "Oh Arceus! Bring me to them now!" Both Mews flew to the nest where the eggs were situated. Suddenly, a blue paw hand smashed through the top part of the light blue egg. The shell suddenly exploded, leaving a shiny blue baby Mew curled in a fetal position, who had a black highlight in his front tuft of fur. The other egg fell apart more gently, leaving a purple baby Mew with pink highlights in her fur also in a fetal position on the ground. Both Mew parents lifted up one of their babies into their arms. Ash looked at his son's face, and stared into his blue-gray eyes as he opened them for the first time. Aaron looked up at his father to see him crying. "Mew?" Aaron mewed, causing Ash's heart to practically explode. "I'm a father!" He shouted as he hugged his son, who, surprisingly, returned the hug. "I'll be the best father for you, Aaron." Aaron mewed again, feeling loved for the first time in his life.
