A fair chance

The rest of the morning, you spend in the living room, Rei obviously avoiding you, and Lance packing a few things into a backpack. You see him pack a blanket, a one man tent, a portable cook stove, what may be a change of clothes, a knife, some rope, a can opener, and a few cans of condensed soup.

Once the pack is ready, he slings it over his shoulder, "That should be good enough for if you need to leave in a hurry. And the house should have enough to keep you pretty comfortable for quite a while."

"There should be at least a couple of months of food there, and the generator has enough fuel to run non stop for the better part of a week, so if you only use it a few hours a day, you'll be set for quite a while. Try not to run it at night, the lights will attract the Infected."

He seems to think about something for a few seconds, "Other than that, the cabin should have all the creature comforts you may need."
