A different path.

"Hmm..." You wondered to yourself for a little while, sitting down and concentrating until you finally made your choice. "This may or may not be, for better or for worse, the most interesting path I'll ever be on." You stretched as you went back to the alleyway, ducking behind a large garbage bin and soon going back into your spirit form. "Oh boy...~ If this works though, I have no idea what's going to happen to me or her, but it sure will be one hell of a wild ride! One I'm willing to see through!" You shook your head, trying to hype yourself up as you went on the lookout for your intended target. "Now let's go find that bloodsucker!"

*A few hours later*

"Okay! ....Well, this isn't going too well..." You scratched your head in confusion and annoyance. You still hadn't spotted any trace of your soon-to-be host anywhere you looked so far. "Damn...how hard is it to find a yandere bloodsucking criminal!?" You spoke in exasperation. "Nowhere in the alleys I've been through, no sign of her in the streets, obviously, nor was she in any of the trains or subway stations...and no sign of her anywhere else!" You felt the urge to bang your head against the wall because you've gotten any farther in your search whatsoever.

"...You know what?" You furrowed your brows as you put your hand under your chin in a thoughtful pose. "Maybe I've been going about this wrong...Maybe I should try putting myself in her shoes...and her mindset! That's it! Alright, this should help a lot!" You nodded with renewed confidence in your tracking abilities. "To know one's opponent, one must know how their opponent thinks, hehe~!" You then began the process of trying to think like your target.

"..." You tried to think like her.

*A few minutes pass*

"..." You continued to try thinking like how she thinks.

*Half an hour passes*

"......" You were using every last braincell as well as every piece of knowledge you've watched and learned from the show to accurately think how she does.

*Another few minutes pass as you awkwardly concentrate and focus as hard as you can*

"...Okay, I give up, it's impossible for me to think like her." You rubbed your temples as you groaned in defeat. "I just can't get into that same mindset. Like yikes, obsession with certain people, psychotic, and straight up insane in my opinion. Add to the fact that she could actually BE anywhere because of her quirk, too! Literally, I guess it's going to come down to dumb luck that I stumble across her! Whatever the case, I think it's only a matter of time! Night time will have to be my best chance of catching her in the act!" Just as you finished that statement, an idea clicked in your head and your face reached what could only be described as a face of enlightenment and brilliance. "...Oh."

*Night time*

"Decoy body, check." You looked yourself over, feeling somewhat pleased with the simple plan you put in place to lure your target out. "Sorry man, I promise I won't get you killed." You spoke to the somewhat young looking guy in the mirror, whose body you were currently borrowing. "Well...maybe close to it depending on how fast I can react...uh, either way, don't worry." You reassured yourself, truly hoping you won't get some random guy killed tonight by a psychotic chick with an appetite for blood and slashing. "Haaaa...fuuu....haaaa....fuuuu..." You breathed in and out, getting yourself to calm down as you finished getting ready for your excursion. "....Miss Toga, here I come~!" You grinned as you headed out of your host's house and began to walk, shivering slightly in the chilly air.

"This might be the place where it can happen...It looked similar enough to the episode's..." You cautiously looked around, everything had the visual of the perfect place for a villain to strike. "Barely any street lights, few people walking around...just gotta relax...and be calm..." You muttered to yourself, trying to keep your anxiety from rising and to steady your breath. You genuinely didn't want to hurt your host, but at the moment, you really didn't have a better idea to draw out Toga other than with live bait. "If she shows, then she shows, if not...well...I'll try again tomorrow...it's not like I have anything better to do...although gushing at the UA students/teachers and watching them go about their day is certainly something I wouldn't mind watching for a bit too..." You continued to speak quietly to yourself, pacing around the area, though also trying to not instill any suspicion from the few passersby.

*A few hours go by*

"...Haah..." You let out both a disappointed, yet somehow relieved sigh, looking at the time hit 11:28 pm. 'I guess I mistook the location, or maybe she doesn't hunt here often.' You shook your head as you thought about how relatively peaceful and boring this trip was, you ended up sitting down on a bench and fiddling with your host's phone, mostly watching about the news of hero exploits and conspiracy theories. One thing you learned to do throughout the months of repeatedly using your powers of possession was to figure out how to access your host target's memories and personality, essentially, you had learn to completely take over their minds and bodies in an absolute manner.

Regardless, you soon stood up, turned around, and began to walk around to go home for the night, intending to do the same thing here again the following night and see if you have better luck finding the elusive villain. Sighing one more time, you simply looked and watched a video on your phone as you walked, your headphones in your ears for better audio quality. That was a bit of a mistake as you ended up bumping into someone.

"Oh-?!" You grunted, alarmed at the sudden break from your video. "I-I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going!" You apologized as you were already looking down, and spotted a rather cute looking wallet with cat stickers and decorations on it. You smiled as you picked it up, intending to do your good deed for the night as you raised your hand to return the wallet to the person you bumped into. "Your wallet....miss..." You slowly froze as you came face to face with your intended target.

"Hm~? Ah! Thanks a bunch, Mister~!" The girl with pale, dirty ash-blonde hair, a somewhat catlike face, and a really cute, but honestly terrifying smile stared at you as she seemingly, but gratefully, took her wallet back.

'HOLY SHIT I'M ABOUT TO PISS MY PANTS RIGHT NOW!!!' You were internally freaking out as you just kept looking at her.

"???" She returned your staring at her with her own staring and a big smile, which really didn't help your case out as you only got more panicked on the inside. "Is there something on my face~?" She asked you in an innocent tone, getting closer to you.

"U-Uh...er...uhm...n..no...uh..." You stuttered incoherently, your voice catching in your throat as you genuinely weren't capable of thinking clearly, your face a bit flushed as she continued to get closer.

"Hmmm~? What is it then, Mister?" Toga then blushed and looked embarrassed. "N-No way! It can't be~?! A-Are you trying to come onto me?!" She stared at you as that got your attention and snapped you out of your brain dead situation.

"W-What?! No way! O-Of course not!" You crossed your arms while furiously shaking your head. 'W-What the hell is she talking about?! Wait, I forgot, she's crazy!!' The thought crossed your head momentarily before being shoved aside by more of her nonsense. What didn't cross your mind, however, was the fact that one of Toga's hands reached behind her back, heading to pull something out.

"Ahhh, you definitely areee!!" She continued to move erratically, her movements quite fluid as she skipped around you, flailing about randomly. "Could you be...?! My prince charming~?" She asked you sweetly as she quickly moved behind you.

"Y-Your what?! Pardon me-" You stopped as your rational thought process suddenly reminded you of who Toga was. 'Wait a second!? What the hell am I doing?!?!' Just as you thought that, you felt her kick up snow behind you. lunging forward as she covered your mouth with one arm while the other was already swinging around, the knife getting ready to plunge straight into your neck. 'SHIT!!' Thankfully, this body had a good amount of strength and so you utilized all your weighted and pushed back against Toga with all your might.

"W-Woah?!" Toga yelped in shock as both you and her lost your footing and stumbled onto the ground.

You rapidly scrambled onto your feet again, "H-Holy hell...!" You exclaimed in surprise. "H-Haha~! W-What did you think about that you crazy bi-GAH!?!" Your eyes shut tight as the pain in your loins grew exponentially. In your effort to brag, you gave her time to charge forward and kick you square in the nutsack, making you fall over onto the ground in pain.

"Ehehe~! Gee, Mister! That was some good quick thinking you did there~!" Toga flipped you on your back as she got on top of you and used her legs to pin your arms to the ground. "I knew I made the right choice in taking you~! Hehe~! Now let me show you how much I love you, Mister~! I wanna show you how much I wanna BE you, how much I wanna KILL you~!!!" She giggled, her eyes filled with desire and strangely, love, as she grasped the knife she had with both hands and raised it high, ready to stab you for real.

'N-NO way! I don't wanna die here! I won't die here!!!' You freaked out hard. 'I...w-wait...WAIT! I CAN STOP THIS!!!' Your eyes popped open just as you saw her bringing the knife down and you just did what you could always do now.

The events happened as if they were in slow-motion. One moment you were in your previous host, the next moment you were out of your original body flying towards Toga in your spirit form at full speed, and the next moment...

"...?" You found yourself lying on the ground. "D...Did it work...?" You held your head, feeling a massive headache coming on. "Ugh....my head...wait...." You winced, but realized that your voice sounded completely different than before, far more girly and feminine. "N-No way...." Still having a bit of a headache, you struggled to stand a bit. "Where...oh...there he is." You looked down at your previous body, laying **** on the ground as you picked up his phone. Still remembering his password, you switched to the camera and had it on selfie mode. "Oh...." You stared in awe as the face that stared back was Himiko Toga's face. "Ehehe...so it did work...~" You smiled, seeing that reflected back in the camera. You quickly patted down your clothes of the dirt that got onto them. "Ow...ah jeez...my head honestly hurts...gotta find a place to chill in for now..."

You quickly gathered whatever belonged to Toga, as well as take some cash out of your other host's wallet. "Sorry, I'll pay you back some other time, Mister~" You patted him on the head as you quietly fled the scene, not long after, hearing the sounds of a couple people shouting as you kept your pace, passing by other people normally as you soon left the area entirely. "Right...~ Now...for a quick recap...~" You did a surface scan of Toga's memories, and found out she was currently hanging around an abandoned building and so you booked it to that building.

In record time, owing that to Toga's natural fitness, you arrived at her "home" for the moment, finding her campsite established in one of the few rooms that remained intact. "Whew...!" You plopped onto the makeshift bed, finding it to be comfortable in all respects. "Ehehe...now that's what I call a nice trip~!" You giggled, still enjoying how you look and sound now. "Still, I don't really "know" you just yet, eh Toga...~?" You sighed and smiled. "Reading through all your memories will take a while, so..."

You soon licked your lips as the desire grew in your new eyes. "Why don't I...have a little fun with your body while I look through your memories and stuff like that~?" Your hands began wandering all over the surface of your body. "Well, it's not like you have a choice in the matter, after all, I'm you now...~" You smugly stated.
